Helen is our resident photographer and has been creating stunning photos for over 10 years, culminating in her blog HELENPRIESTPHOTOGRAPHY.CO.UK

Over the years, she has captured many events, parties, weddings and portraits, and enjoys the fun, the people and even the pressure of getting things perfect.

Helen gained a degree and went into teaching at a local junior school, but her love of photography will always be in her heart.

Being a teacher has it’s advantages. Apart from the long summer holidays, Helen is great at talking to children, and even better at talking to big adult kids who won’t pay attention She is the perfect person to photograph people.

David started up CARBYNE MEDIA at the end of 2013, as his love of Videography grew strong enough to start a business of his own.

He too has been into photography from an early age, always the photographer of his group of friends, always with a camera, always wanting the best cameraphone as soon as it came out, which then lead onto videos, recording weddings for friends, before training and starting recording on a professional basis.

Whilst all of this was going on, he was working for a company, firstly as store management, before foreseeing the need for that company to start selling online and beating the competition to it by getting in there early. In 2005 they did, and after a slow few years, things picked up.

David then started in a new position out of the shop, where he combined his knowledge of the products that were being sold, with his photography skills, to help the company form an online trading platform in 2009 with 100 or so items, to a huge online business with 4500+ items listed, a number growing every week as he still does work for them!

We are also currently setting up a new studio, based in Cradley Heath, where we will have the perfect place for family portraits, and product images very soon.
